Plastic was introduced to the world in the middle of the 20th century. It become a great advantage,specially for low-income communities. Because it provided affordable and practical alternative to many everyday items. Not only cups but also furniture and various household goods began to be made from plastic. These products are cheap,light-weight and durable. They do not break easily even when dropped.

             As a result many people preter plastic goods since wooden furniture and other materials are often expensive. Nowadays,it is difficult to find a house that does not use plastic in some from. It has become an essential part of modern life.

              However despite it's benefits,plastic has a harmful side that can not be ignored. Plastic waste does not decompase easily and it can remain in the environment for hundreds of years. This reads to serious environmental problems such as soil pollution,water pollution and harm to wildlife. Many animals mistakenly consume plastic which can lead to injury or death.

                  Therefore while plastic has made our lives easier it is our responsibility to use it wisely. Reducing plastic use reusing materials and recycling can help minimize it's negative impact and protect. Our environment for the future generation.
