Your habits can change your life

 Even a small toxic habit can destroy a person's whole life within a second. Many people do not realize the danger of bad habits at the begining because they seems small and harmless. However it such habits continue for a long time they can seriously affect a person's health, education and future. Habits such as wasting time, addiction to harmful substances or engaging in negative activities can slowly damage a person's life. On the other hand developing good habits such as reading working hard,respecting others and maintaining a healthy lifestyles can lead a person toward success and happiness. It is very important to identify and avoid toxic positive and productive behaviors that help build a better future.

Don't waste time

 Instead of wasting time people should develop the habit of reading books. Reading is one of the most effective ways to improve knowledge and broaden one's understanding of the world. Through books we can learn about different cultures, lifestyles and the experiences of people from various parts of the world. Books also provide valuable information about history , science and many other subjects that help us to develop our thinking ability. By reading stories and biographies we can learn important life lessons and understand how others have faced challenges and difficulties in our lives. These experiences can guide us and prepare us to face the challenges of our own lives with courage and wisdom. Developing a regular reading habit is very beneficial for personal growth, knowledge and success in life.

Dry zone cultivation

 In my country many people who live in the dry zone areas mainly cultivate vegetables. Districts such as Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa are well known for vegetable cultivation. Since these areas receive less rainfall compared to the wet zone, farmers depend heavily on irrigation systems for their cultivation. They usually take water from large reservoirs and tanks that were built many years ago. These reservoirs help farmers to supply water to their fields during dry season. Vegetable such as Brinjal, pumpkin,beans and tomatoes are commonly grown in these areas. Agriculture plays a vital role in the lives of people in the dry zone,as it is their main source of income. Through hard work and proper use of water resources. Farmers in these regions contribute greatly to the food supply of the country.

My future dream

 My dream is become a traditional dancing teacher. Since my childhood I have had a deep passion for traditional dance which is one of the most valuable parts of our cultural heritage. Because of this passion I have been dedicating my life to achieving my goal. Everyday I try to improve my dancing skills and accumulate more knowledge related to my subject. I strongly believe that learning is a continuous process and a true teacher should always be willing to learn new things. Recently,I was selected to a University to continue my higher studies which is a great opportunity for me to develop my knowledge and practical skills further. I hope that the university education will guide me to become a skilled and knowledgeable teacher in the field dance.

Education is a great blessing to many people in this world. It plays a vital role in shaping a person's life and building a better society. Through education people gain knowledge,develop skills and learn how to think critically. It also helps individuals to understand the world and make wise decisions in our lives ,if you practice even a small thing repeatedly with dedication and patience you can eventually become a professional in that field. Education teaches us the importance of discipline,hard work and perseverance. Moreover it opens many opportunities for a successful future and improves the quality of life.

Advantages and disadvantages of social media

 On one hand social media has one of the most important resources for education in modern times. Student can easily access a vital amount of information through platform such as online videos, educational pages and discussion forums. It helps them to learn new concepts,share knowledge and communication with teachers and classmates. In addition social media provides opportunities to follow educational institutions and experts from around the world.

           On other hand social media can also become a toxic resource if it not used wisely. Many people spend a large amount of their valuable time scrolling through entertainment contents. Excessive use of social media may also distract students from their studies and daily responsibilities. Therefore it is important to use it in a balance and responsible manner so that it becomes a helpful educational tool rather than a harmful habit.

Festivals in Sri Lanka

 Sri Lankan's celebrate many festivals throughout the year which reflect the rich culture and religions diversity of the country. Important festivals include Sinhala and Tamil New Year,Vesak,Poson, Thai pongal and Christmas. One of the most special qualities of Sri Lanka is that people celebrate these festivals together without considering religion , nationality or other differences. During these celebration people decorate their homes ,prepare traditional foods,visit religions places and spend time with their families and friends. These festivals promote unity,harmony and mutual respect among different communities in the country. They also help to preserve cultural traditions and pass them on to the younger generation. Festivals in Sri Lanka are not only religious events but also important occasions that strengthen friendship throughout the country.

Global warming

 

The temperature of the world rises day by day due to unnecessary and irresponsible behavior of humans. This serious environmental problems is known as global warming. Human activities such as cutting down forests,burning fossil fuels and releasing harmful gases from vehicles and factories greatly contribute to this problems. These gases trap heat in the atmosphere and increase the temperature of the earth.

          As a result of global warming many environmental changes can be seen today. The climate is changing rapidly, glaciers are melting and sea levels are rising. In addition many animals and plants are losing their natural habitats.

Therefore it is the responsibility of every human being to protect the environment. We should plant more trees, reduce pollution and use natural resources wisely. If people work together to protect the earth,it will be possible to reduce global warming.

Most important historical place in my area

 

One of the most important place in my area is the Aluwihare Rock Temple. Matale Aluwiharaya is one of the most important historical and religious place in Sri Lanka. It is located in Matale and is surrounded by beautiful mountains and natural scenery. The temple is well-known for it's peaceful environment and it's long and valuable history.

The temple is also famous for its ancient caves, beautiful wall painting and statues that illustrate many stories related to Buddhism. Every year many local and foreign visitors come to this sacred place worship and learn about this historical value. According to historical recards the teaching of Gautama Buddha were first written down in this place. This significant event took place during the reign of king Walagamba.

My favorite subject to learn

 Dancing is my favorite subject. I have been learning this subject for more than seven  years. However,I still have a lot to learn about dancing because it is a very broad and creative field. Everyday new steps and techniques are introduced and learning them give me great satisfaction and happiness. Dancing allowed me to express my feelings, emotions and creativity in a beautiful way.

            Apart from traditional dancing I would also like to learn western dance and other traditional dance styles from different countries. I believe that learning different dancing methods will help me to improve my skills and become a more talented dancer. Dancing not only improves my physical fitness but also gives me confidence and discipline. Therefore I always practice regularly and try my best for develop my dancing abilities.

My queen

 

My mother is the queen of my life. She is the best person I hare ever seen in my life. She sacrificed many things to make my life beautiful and valuable. In fact ,she is the person who gave me life and has always guided me on the right path. From my childhood until now she has cared for me with endless love, patience and blandness. She always puts the happiness of our family before her own comport.

            My mother works hard every day to make sure the we live a better life. She teaches me good values such as honestly, respect and kindness. To me,my mother is not only a parent but also a teacher,a friend and a protected. I believe that no one in this world can replace the love of a mother. Therefore I always respect and appreciate my mother for everything she has done for me.
